Better Decision-Making

How you and your agency respond to sensor network events is primarily up to you. Our job is to provide the best information possible to make that decision. The big difference is that response is event driven—meaning you only respond when you know there is actual activity. Signal messages are near realtime and include location, direction and classification information, taking a lot of the guess work out of your response. Maps and text combine to give you a good understanding of what you are dealing with before you respond. Automatic messaging allows you to conduct other business while your target area is quiet.

A Vortex Sensor Network force multiplier allows continuous monitoring of vast areas or remote facilities without the need for excessive manpower or resources. Additionally, the sharing capabilities allow multiple agencies to combine efforts to increase the effectiveness of your efforts.

Responding

  1. Automatically receive notification from software applications or messaging devices such as your cell phone or pager.
  2. Process message information like time, location, direction and classification to understand what type of intrusion is occurring.
  3. Respond according to your own decision and internal policies.
