GS-20 Underground Sensor
The Ground Scout is a low power intrusion sensor designed for longterm outdoor deployment. The rugged compact design is equipped with an internal seismic sensor to detect pedestrian intruders and a directional magnetometer for vehicular targets. Product Sheet (PDF)
GSE-1, GSE-2 Underground Sensor
The GSE Sensors are a cost effective solution when the need for a single sensor type exists. More compact than the GS-20, the GSE is available in either a seismic version for pedestrian traffic, or a magnetic version for vehicle detection. Product Sheet (PDF)
GS-30 Hand Held Programmer
The GS-30 hand‐held programmer provides quick and easy access to the numerous adjustable parameters for the GSE-1/-2, GS-10 and GS-20 UGS. Using internal rechargeable batteries, the GS-30 will operate continuously for 10 days as a field programmer. The GS-30 hand‐held programmer is completely portable and easily fits into most tactical or equipment packs. Weighing only 1.5 lbs., the GS-30 is the perfect setup tool when deploying sensors in the field. Product Sheet (PDF)
GS-80 Hand Held Monitor
A portable monitor provides unlimited flexibility when deploying transmitters/repeaters or when strategic operations require
that monitoring is conducted at a location far removed from a central base station. Along with the ability to receive incoming alarms,
the Portable Monitor also functions as a standalone transmitter allowing users to send test transmissions.

GS-70 Base Station Monitor
The GS-70 Base Station Monitor provides the central data gathering function for intrusion detection and surveillance systems using Monitron sensors, transmitters, and radio communications links. The Base Monitor is microprocessor controlled and allows the user to select a variety of parameters via a built-in keypad. This product is designed and constructed for indoor or mobile use. GS-60 Portable Repeater
The GS-60 Portable Repeater is a user friendly processor and transceiver. It is housed in a rugged, watertight, corrosion resistant enclosure, which facilitates storage, transportation, and concealment. This unit is ideal for longterm deployment ranging from 1 month to over a year, depending on transmissions per day. The GS-60 may be deployed above ground or buried for security and concealment. Product Sheet (PDF)
GS-40/50 Fixed Repeater
A repeater may be required if transmission range between a transmitter and monitor are impaired by long distances, natural terrain or other obstacles. Alarm messages received by the repeater are forwarded to the next receiving unit (another repeater or a monitor). The RD301/401 Relay/Repeater can also be configured to function as a repeater. GS-90 Mobile Monitor
The GS-90 Mobile Monitor is designed and constructed for vehicle use. Modular construction provides system flexibility and cost-effective field service. The monitor and display are housed in separate enclosures and attach via a six (6) foot cable, allowing the user to place the display in the vehicle for easy viewing while driving. GS-100 Passive Infrared Sensor
The GS‐100 Passive Infrared Sensor (PIRS) is an intrusion detector that responds to infrared energy radiated by pedestrians or vehicles within its field of view. Depending on the temperature difference between the subject and the background, useful range of detection for a short‐range sensor is 100 feet for pedestrians. It produces a signal when it senses the movement of heat sources. The unit is utilized for remote detection of vehicles and people. Product Sheet (PDF)
GS-Video Link
The Ground Scout Video Link is a battery powered video intrusion sensor designed for long-term outdoor deployments. The rugged design is ideal for quick deployments without the need for external power or camera wires.
The Video Link provides a crucial link between detection and confirmation. This video system is designed to work seamlessly with the entire line of Ground Scout sensors. The Video Link may be placed within a Ground Scout sensor network to provide video confirmation of suspect activity or as a standalone sensor package with video relay. Product Sheet (PDF)
GS-TK12 Tactical Kit
Quick Deployment Perimeter Sensor KitRegardless of your mission, Ground Scout sensors from Vortex Systems are ready for your deployments. With long-life operating cycles, sensors are deployable for the day or the entire year. Tested and used on the U.S. border, Ground Scout sensors transmit information back to your hand held monitor or base of operations. Systems are scalable from 1 to 10,000 units per deployment.
